Description |
This is a beautiful two-toned blue specimen of cutter-grade, very dense Shattuckite from the type locality - the Shattuck Mine at Bisbee, Arizona. Portions of both sides are micro-crystalline. Excellent, old-time material from the Charles Hansen Collection. According to his label, the specimen was collected in 1935. The mine closed in 1947. 169 grams or 5.9 ounces. |
