Description |
Large Chondrodite crystal with a deep brownish-red color associated with dark gray Spinel on a Calcite matrix. It appears that the Calcite has been partially dissolved in acid to remove some of the Calcite overgrowth. This specimen was collected by Frank Clyne; I acquired this at the Monroe, NY show. |
