Description |
Almost completely covering its matrix, is a cluster of reddish-brown, Jarosite crystals exhibiting a waxy luster. The crystals reach .7 cm across and are composed of potassium, iron, sulfate. This species is rarely found in dealers stocks and crystals such as this, from a small find at this remote uranium mine, are considered by some people to have been the world's best. They came out twice, once from the mine itself and once from the dumps, as understood by Rob Lavinsky. Ex James Zigras Collection. |
