An unusually fine miniature featuring a single superb crystal of the best quality: indicated by a slightly metallic sheen of blue at the surface. The cube is 9 mm on edge. An old label notes "3/76 BHL COLLECTION $350"...a lot of money for the time! As with all such, this is very
friable
matrix
and when collected by Larson and Swoboda in the 1970s was stabilized to help it keep together.
