Description |
A large, single gemmy Corundum var. Sapphire crystal, 64 carat in size, recovered in July 2018. It is the largest gem quality Sapphire ever recorded in the USA. The crystal was heat treated to improve color. Seen at the 2019 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® at the Collector's Edge booth. |
