Description |
Translucent orange scalenohedral Rhodochrosite crystals up to 4 mm long on botryoidal black Mn-oxide matrix with white Aragonite (or Calcite). The Rhodochrosite crystals are scattered throughout the specimen. This is from an old-time classic locality of which specimens are extremely hard to obtain today. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection #30. |
