Description Nine crude Sapphire crystals from the historic deposits first discovered in 1895. One crystal is water-worn and came from the alluvial deposits, the others are sharper and likely originated in the American Mine, the only in situ deposit. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #094.
